EFM 2021: FILM.UA DISTRIBUTION SELLS "THE RISING HAWK" TO JAPAN AND SOUTH KOREA

FILM.UA Distribution has reached new deals during its participation in the online edition of European Film Market. The historical action film "The Rising Hawk" will be shown in Japan, distributed by IPA-International Production Associates, and in South Korea, where the rights were acquired by Movement Pictures.

"We are excited about the newest FILM.UA Distribution's agreements from one of the world's largest film markets. This shows once again the interest of global distributors in Ukrainian films. At this online film market, we are presenting our most popular projects already seen in many countries, and we hope that after EFM, the list of these countries will be expanded even further", – says Evgeniy Drachov, International Sales Manager at FILM.UA Distribution.

The FILM.UA's headliner for EFM is the animated film "Mavka. The Forest Song” that  brings the titular Mavka, an outstanding strong female protagonist from classical literary fiction, to the universe of ancient Slavic myths and legends with the help of modern storytelling and novel 3D animation technologies.

FILM.UA Distribution is also presenting a historical action film "The Rising Hawk", a romantic-fantasy film "Felix Austria aka Maid-in-law," a sports drama "Pulse", a military action-drama "U311 Cherkasy", and a family fantasy "Foxter and Max".
