NTV is participating at European Film Market (EFM 2022), with new TV products such as "Hitman's Curse" starring Aleksandr Ustyugov and "Extreme Team", along with the projects that have already captured the audience’s attention: the period crime series "Noble Detective", the drama "Fatherland" based on Alexander Terekhov’s best seller and season 2 of the supernatural thriller "Beyond Death".

Along with other Russian-made projects, "Fatherland" will feature in the TV series showcase to be presented by Roskino. At EFM 2022 NTV will also present "Hitman’s Curse", an action-packed drama featuring an ex-cop Ivan who meets his long-time nemesis who killed his partner and sent Ivan himself to prison six years ago one day in the courtroom. He is accused of being a hired hitman, but the seasoned criminal finds a way to evade justice. Out of his desire for revenge, Ivan decides to become a hitman himself. He thinks it’s just this one time. He has no idea that deals with the devil have no end date.

The international audience will also get a first chance to watch NTV’s action-packed crime show "Extreme Team". The show is centered about a seasoned cop who used to work alone and rely only on himself. Suddenly he gets saddled with two partners: a general’s son and a girl fresh out of police school and suffering from the straight-A student syndrome.

NTV’s participating in EFM 2022 for the second year running. The European media market is one of the most promising when it comes to developing the broadcaster’s international distribution network. In 2021, NTV sold 128 of its projects in 143 countries. Global players such as Dori Media Group, Olympusat, Encripta, Ampersand Fiction distribute NTV’s projects at the moment. They’re also being made available to global audiences via VOD platforms: Looke, Walter Presents, Bilibili, TenTime, Amazon Prime Video.

EFM 2022 takes place under the umbrella of the 72th Berlin International Film Festival, kickstarting the European TV market season. This year, the forum will unite about 10,000 people representing international film and TV industry.
