Following the international success of last year’s event, EGEDA-FIPCA and Fundación Secuoya have renewed their alliance to host the Ibero-American audiovisual event Iberseries Platino Industria for a second time. By joining forces, while each still maintaining their individual identities,) Iberseries and Platino Industria will deliver a world-class initiative to foster collaborative projects and international productions in Spanish and Portuguese on both sides of the Atlantic and promote and enhance the visibility of Ibero-American films and TV series and professionals.

For a second consecutive year, Madrid will be hosting an event that will bring together the world’s most exceptional creators, producers, distributors, and artists from September 27 through 30, 2022, at the Matadero Madrid. The full program will be announced shortly.

The event’s first edition took place in Madrid from September 27 to October 1, 2021, and had over 2000 attendees, 57 professional panelists, 786 pitches, and over 100 highly-regarded figures representing leading audiovisual institutions and companies across Ibero-America. Over 300 accredited domestic and foreign journalists covered the event. The inaugural edition featured four intense days of activities. Among the many attendees were Oscar Award-winner filmmaker Alejandro Amenábar, American scriptwriter and TV producer Chris Brancato, Juan Ponce of Telemundo Streaming Studios, and Miguel Salvat and Marcelo Tamburri of WarnerMedia. For this year’s edition, Iberseries Platino Industria has the full support of the Madrid City Hall and the Community of Madrid.
