LA SCREENINGS: GMA NETWORK AND LATIN MEDIA ARE PART OF THE VIRTUAL EVENT

GMA Network Inc.’s partner, Latin Media Corporation (LMC) presents as part of its showcase, the best of GMA dramas through its own virtual LA Screenings 2020 running from May 12 to 14.

The cancellation of the physical LA Screenings due to the Covid-19 pandemic led distributors to find ingenious measures to reach out to buyers. Latin Media developed a virtual space where customers can screen featured titles including GMA’s hit dramas "Ysabel", "The Gift", "For Love Or Money"  and "The Silent Thief".

In the Family Drama "Ysabel"  (72x45’) Ysabel agrees to be the surrogate mother to Javier and Scarlet’s child. However, her own child, Maymay passes away from a tragic accident. Ysabel runs away with the unborn child and names her Maya. Years later, Scarlet finds Ysabel and takes Maya back.

The family drama “The Gift”  ("Un Don Verdadero -53x45’) starring GMA’s top talent, Alden Richards, tells the story of Joseph (Richards) who becomes a clairvoyant after a near-death experience, while   suspense drama "The Silent Thief" ("Hijo, ¿Dónde Estás?"-45 x 45’) is about a mother’s desperate efforts to find her kidnapped son.

In the crime drama "For Love Or Money" ("Por Amor o Por Dinero" - 45x45’) Mariel’s husband, Eldon is spared from a death sentence, but he has to pay blood money worth 50 million pesos. Mariel goes to great lengths to raise funds to set Eldon free, but her efforts are not enough. She loses all hope until her ex-boyfriend, Gary offers her the amount she needs on one condition – she has to rekindle their past love and become his lover.
