Independent distributor All3Media International will present an extensive slate of dramas and premium factual at MIP Cancun later this month, in addition to a formats portfolio featuring acclaimed unscripted and scripted hits ready for local adaptation.

A diverse line-up of upcoming premium dramas will be available at MIP Cancun , including both seasons of acclaimed crime caper "The Gold". Featuring a star-studded cast including Hugh Bonneville and Dominic Cooper, this critically acclaimed ratings sensation will arrive at MIP Cancun with a new 6 x 1 hr second series coming soon. Inspired by the true story of the 1983 Brink’s-Mat robbery, "The Gold" is produced by Tannadice Pictures and Objective Fiction for BBC One, UK. Another compelling crime story travelling to MIP Cancun is "The Island" (4 x 1 hr), new from Black Camel Pictures, producers of hit detective drama "Annika". Set against the elemental landscape of the Outer Hebrides, "The Island" centres on a family caught up in a murder investigation very close to home. Currently in post-production, the drama is due to be delivered in 2025 and was commissioned by BBC ALBA. Also showcasing in Mexico is "Out There" (6 x 1 hr, Buffalo Pictures for ITV, UK), a new thriller starring Martin Clunes (Doc Martin) as a man fighting back against the dark forces that begin to seep into his rural community.

"Trigger Point", the high-octane thriller set in the world of bomb disposal – produced by Jed Mercurio’s HTM Television for ITV, UK, and starring Vicky McClure (Line of Duty) – will also be on the line-up, with a new third series commissioned. Recent drama launches available in Mexico include "Critical Incident" (6 x 1 hr, Matchbox Pictures for Stan, Australia), a contemporary crime drama delving into the complex world of policing, and "Dead and Buried" (4 x 1 hr, Three River Fiction and Vico Films for the BBC, UK, and Virgin Media, Ireland), a psychological drama starring Annabel Scholey (Rivals) as a woman who, after a chance encounter with her brother’s killer, sets out on a twisted quest for revenge.

Headlining All3Media International’s unscripted line-up at MIP Cancun is a host of new premium factual series and specials. Major new BBC One series "Parenthood" (5 x 1 hr) – from leading natural history producer Silverback Films – explores life’s greatest challenge, revealing the incredible stories of animal parents. Produced for Fox Nation, US, by Nutopia, world leaders in premium docudramas, "Jesus: Crown of Thorns" (4 x 1 hr) brings to life the story of one of the most significant figures in history, combining action-packed, character-led drama with a rigorous historical underpinning.

True crime documentaries from new All3Media group producer Bright North Studios will also showcase. Real FBI agents divulge the gripping details of their most perilous and notorious cases in all four series of "FBI True" (48 x ½ hr), and viewers are taken behind the crime scene tape as American police officers recall their most shocking and compelling cases in "PD" True (10 x ½ hr). Both series are produced for CBS, US, and Paramount+, Canada.

Alongside its line-up of finished content, All3Media International will bring a diverse slate of unscripted and scripted formats ready to be adapted for local audiences. Global format phenomenon "The Traitors" continues to take the world by storm, with 30 international versions and multiple awards in its trophy cabinet, including two BAFTAs and three Primetime Emmys. The ultimate game of deception, skill and trust, "The Traitors" was created and developed by Marc Pos and IDTV Creative Director Jasper Hoogendoorn in cooperation with RTL Creative Unit.

Also available will be IDTV’s latest psychological reality format "Turn on the Charm", originally produced by IDTV and Talpa TV for Net5, Netherlands. Six men and six women must flirt and manipulate their way through this unique road trip meets reality adventure, where the goal isn’t to find love, it’s to survive and avoid elimination in a game full of drama and twists. And new from Studio Lambert and recently launched on USA Network, "The Anonymous" is a strategic reality competition that sees players competing in two worlds – the real world and anonymous mode.

Scripted formats arriving in MIP Cancun include "Angela Black", the psychological thriller recently adapted in Spain for Atresmedia TV and originally produced by the multi-award-winning Two Brothers Pictures. Created by Goalpost Television and now in its second season for Stan, Australia, gripping crime mystery Black Snow unfolds across two timelines as the opening of a time capsule puts a cold case detective on the trail of a killer who murdered a young woman 25 years earlier. And "The Ex-Wife", a psychological thriller based on Jess Ryder’s hit novel of the same name, tells the story of Tasha, whose life with her loving husband and beautiful little girl could be perfect – if it wasn’t for her husband’s ex-wife who won’t leave them alone. Originally produced by Clapperboard Studios, BlackBox Multimedia and Night Train Media, "The Ex-Wife" is now in its second series for Paramount+ and Channel 5, UK.

Yari Torres, VP Latin America at All3Media International, commented on the strategy for MIP Cancun: “We’re looking forward to arriving at MIP Cancun with another extensive slate of high-quality shows and formats that we know will appeal to audiences across Latin America. Gripping, tightly written thrillers have always been popular in these territories, so our star-studded premium dramas from genre-leading producers are sure to be in demand, as will premium factual content such as Jesus: Crown of Thorns, which brings to life a story that is of great significance in this region. Plus, with an ever-growing slate of unscripted and scripted formats, we also have much to grab the attention of channels and platforms looking to add their own local flavour to proven hits," explained.
