During this year’s MIPJunior, MIAM! animation’s "The Tinies" ranked #1 at the screening room, while “Goat Girl ranked” #10. This year marks a significant shift in the animation landscape at MipJunior despite a particularly challenging year, with the French animation sector not being spared from the crisis.
While Anglo-Saxon productions have traditionally dominated the top spots, this year, five animated series produced or co-produced by French studios have made their mark on the Top 10 most-watched programs in the MipJR Screening Room.
"The Tinies" (50x11' + 1x22') is a character-driven sitcom about teamwork, crafts and fun. Aimed at preschoolers the series tells the story of a community of toys living in a town where each day brings new challenges to overcome together. The show invites children to explore teamwork and creativity where crafting becomes a superpower to solve everyday squabbles and to build kids’ self-confidence. Produced by MIAM! animation in co-production with Panique! and Lunanime, the show will be available for delivery in Q3 2025. The Tinies is commissioned by Canal +, VRT / Ketnet and RTBF.
"Goat Girl" (26x11’) is a quirky comedy with a hero who tackles every challenge with a goat-like stubbornness and strength. Gigi's journey is about being comfortable in your own skin, being happy being you, and embracing your differences and even your quirks! Produced by Daily Madness, Thuristar, and MIAM! animation, the series is set to be delivered in Q3 2025. Goat Girl is commissioned by Warner EMEA, KIKA and RTE.
