62nd edition of the Monte-Carlo Television Festival
The 62nd edition of the Monte-Carlo Television Festival has confirmed details of its extended Business Content programme. The event, which will offer a series of panels spanning many current issues facing the international programming industry, will be attended by a group of leading experts, executives and creative talent from around the world.
Creators of the hit Hulu and Paramount+ show “Everyone is Doing Great” James Lafferty and Stephen Colletti will share unique insight into the value of independent television, and its promising future in the scripted content landscape.
Rémi Tereszkiewicz, CEO at Betaseries will bring live insights and latest polls from BetaSeries to find out everything about SVOD/HVOD/AVOD platforms, business models, genres and topics which are trending in France and Europe.
The event, that will be held from 17 to 19 June, also features a conversation with experts from the FAST ecosystem and producers entering this new market who will share insight into their experience. Furthermore, executives to discuss the opportunities to AI, that is likely to have a massive disruptive effect on the audiovisual sector.
As the international television community feels the pinch of shrinking budgets against and higher costs against the backdrop of a global cost of living crisis, a panel of seasoned producers discuss how they are navigating the current landscape, why co-productions are back in fashion, the route to sustainable production and the response of broadcasters, streamers, and distributors to the challenges ahead.
