NATPE VIRTUAL KICKS-OFF FOCUSING ON CONTENT BUSINESS DRIVERS

From Tuesday, January 19 to Friday 29, a new edition of NATPE Miami, one of the world's leading entertainment content markets, will be held entirely online, due to circumstances and restrictions surrounding the ongoing pandemic.

From Tuesday, January 19 to Friday 29, a new edition of NATPE Miami, one of the world's leading entertainment content markets, will be held entirely online, due to circumstances and restrictions surrounding the ongoing pandemic. The first market of the year is a full component of the NATPE Virtual platform, a highly interactive experience designed to address the current content business environment, as demonstrated by both NATPE Streaming Plus and NATPE Budapest International last year.

Each day of NATPE Virtual Miami will feature a full schedule of sessions focused on content business drivers. Key themes for each day will cover revenue (investment, advertising and subscription), audience (research, marketing and promotion), content (acquisition and distribution sales), and production (new content). Additional topics will include station groups, web-series, global, Latin Summit and the renowned industry awards shows.

The conference portion of NATPE Miami Virtual will take place from January 19 to 22, while the marketplace will be open from January 19 to 29. The packed lineup includes top content industry executives from AMC, A+E, Canal+, CW, DMR, Eccho Rights, Endemol Shine, FilmRise, FOX, LiveLike, Premiere Digital, PBS, StudioCanal, Telemundo, Tubi, Starz, Universal Television, Univision, ViacomCBS, and Whip Media, among many others.

This conference portion of the first international television event of the year will kick-off with NBCUniversal Television and Streaming Chairman, Mark Lazarus, as opening keynote. Lazarus will be joined on stage by Hoda Kotb, Co-anchor of NBC News’ “Today” and co-host of “Today with Hoda & Jenna,” who will moderate the conversation.
