"Save Your Cash," a physical challenge game created by ABS-CBN Studios, Philippines, was declared the winner of the MIPFORMATS Pitch 2025, staged in partnership with FOX Entertainment Global at the inaugural MIP London international content and networking market (23-27 February 2025).

The winning format was selected following a succession of outstanding pitches from around the world in the IET London’s main theatre by a jury composed of Nathalie Wogue, Senior Vice President, Global Formats, FOX Entertainment Global, and European commissioners Davy Parmentier, Channel Director of VTM in Belgium, and Burkhardt Weiss, Vice President Content Development at Seven. One Entertainment Group in Germany.

"Save Your Cash" was presented by Christian Gamboa, who was awarded a $5,000 prize, and beat finalists "Easy100," a quiz show created by Gülenay Şahin, Turkey; "The Getaway," a guessing game created by DLT Entertainment, UK; "Minus Life," a factual entertainment format created by Studio CR Inc., South Korea; and "Musical Attraction," a singing competition show created by Gamaliel Paulus S. (Gammy) Setianugraha, Indonesia.

Speaking from the stage, Jury Chair Nathalie Wogue, highlighted the high level of the competition: "The finalists came from all parts of the world and all gave brilliant pitches. 'Save Your Cash' was unexpected, fun, visually stunning, and really captured the imagination of the judges and of those watching in the room," commented.

In all, 65 formats were submitted for this year’s competition from 23 countries, spanning Entertainment, Formatted Reality, and Game Shows. Last year’s MIPFORMATS Pitch competition saw the format "The Stupid House," from the UK’s Chulapo Pictures, win ahead of concepts from Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, and Norway.
