In the most intense competition in history, the Seoul Drama Awards Organizing Committee (SDAOC, led by the Chairman Bang Moon-shin) has announced the winners of International Invitation, International Competition, K-Drama Competition, Special Prize, and Outstanding Asia Stars.

Between the 346 entries from 48 countries (or regions), the Golden Bird Prize goes to director Park Chan-wook, showrunner and executive producer for "The Sympathizer"(HBO), which draws global attention with his signature Mise-en-Scène and provoking messages. The series follows the journey of a mixed-race Vietnamese man who seeks asylum in the U.S. in the 1970s and explores the conflicts he faces between two civilizations and two ideologies.

For Grand Prize, it goes to Brazil's "Justice: Misconduct" (GLOBO). The drama delves into the flaws of the judicial system through the stories of three suspects who committed crimes for different reasons and one inmate wrongfully imprisoned. The judges praised the series as a "Highly impactful work, offering an original and unique direction that deconstructs the chronological order of events."
