We wish our friends at SIC a most successful run with ‘Vitória.’”

“Vitória” is the result of a high-profile co-production between SIC, SP Televisão, and Disney. In addition to its linear broadcast on SIC, the series is also available for streaming on Disney+, widening its reach across multiple platforms. The Portuguese adaptation was written by Cândida Ribeiro and Rita Roberto, directed by Jorge Cardoso, and produced by Francisco Barbosa. Its cast includes renowned Portuguese actors Cláudia Vieira, Jorge Corrula, Vanessa Giácomo, José Raposo, Luísa Cruz, Afonso Pimentel, Joana Santos, Vicente Gil, Mariana Cardoso, and Rodrigo Costa.

The series centers on the character Vitória as she navigates personal tragedy and betrayal while fighting for justice with the help of her first love, now a successful lawyer. The narrative, focused on themes such as courage, motherhood, and empowerment, has resonated deeply with Portuguese audiences and reflects the universal appeal of the original Turkish drama.

The success of “Vitória” underscores the strength of Turkish storytelling in global markets and reinforces the growing appeal of format adaptations that blend local talent with internationally proven narratives.
