Sportel Rendez-vous Miami, the international market and conference summit dedicated to sports media and tech, is ready to be held from May 9-10 at the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay. Top executives from the highly anticipated Formula 1 Crypto. com Miami Grand Prix 2023, taking place the weekend prior to Sportel, will share key post-race insights, during a featured masterclass panel entitled “Cracking the States: The Changing Face of Motorsport in the US”, showing how motorsport is experiencing a renaissance among younger demographics in the United States, spearheaded by the success of docudrama “Formula 1: Drive to Survive,” new race formats, and the proliferation of events across the country.

“I’m delighted to be part of the Sportel Rendez-vous Miami panel to discuss how motorsport, particularly Formula 1, is carving a path here in the United States. Our inaugural race last year was a huge success and we are continuing to build upon that for our second event in just a couple of weeks’ time. It has been fantastic to see the growing fanbase of the sport as it goes from strength-to-strength in America, and we are proud to be part of that story bringing the pinnacle of motorsport to our great city,”  said Tyler Epp, President of the Formula 1 Crypto. com Miami Grand Prix 2023.

This panel will also welcome Ian Holmes, Director of Media Rights & Content Creation at Formula 1; Alex Arroyo, Head of Media Rights at Dorna Sports/MotoGP; and panel collaborator and moderator Callum McCarthy, Editor-in-Chief at SportBusiness. Besides the growth of F1 and motorsports in the United States, the event topics will cover private equity investment, OTT, live sports streaming, FAST channels, media rights in women's sports, evolutions in production and content delivery, AI data, the cloud, and much more.
