Nominations for the 2021 International Emmy Awards were announced by the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. “We are so proud of our Nominees and the record-breaking number of countries,” said International Academy President & CEO Bruce Paisner. “To those who feared the pandemic would slow TV production around the world, this is your answer.”
There are 44 Nominees across 11 categories and spanning a record number of 24 countries. The full list of Nominees follows this release. Nominees come from Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Egypt, France, India, Israel, Japan, Lebanon, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Thailand, the United Kingdom & the United States.
This year’s Gala partners are: Phoenix Satellite Television, Globo, Portable.TV, Ay Yapim, Ernst & Young, Miptv and Variety. International Emmy World Television Festival partners include JCS International, Film and Media NRW, Warner Media Latin America, Broadview TV, CTC Media, Netflix, Star Original Productions, FKKS and Frame.io.
All nominated program trailers and exclusive Nominee interviews will be featured online during the International Emmy World Television Festival from 12-22 November on the International Academy’s website. Winners will be announced at an in-person Ceremony in New York City, on Monday, 22th November, 2021 at a location to be announced shortly.
