VIACOMCBS CELEBRATED A NEW SCREENING WITH NEW AND UPCOMING CONTENT

During a virtual presentation, the ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group celebrated its Screenings, where the company showcased its new and upcoming content.

During a virtual presentation, the ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group celebrated its Screenings, showcasing its new and upcoming content. Dan Cohen, President of ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group, and Lisa Kramer, President of International Licensing, participated in the event.

“We are producing a ton of content. Our combined ViacomCBS library has over 4000 films and 140.000 television episodes. Our current television production slate is 150 series, and we are producing full slates of theatrical and direct-to-consumer feature films,”  Cohen commented during the presentation.

“For the buyer, that means that we have a lot of choices. We represent story brands with a long history of proven success. Our company broad content serving all audiences, and it also produces niche programming targeting particular demographics. We truly have something for everyone, and we are excited about our own corporate initiative, Paramount+, which is huge for the company. As we are the largest supplier on the planet, we have enough great content to supply our own platforms and other content providers over the world,”  Kramer added.

Consulted about how everything has changed since Viacom and CBS combined their entities, Cohen assured that both companies were able to work across all areas of the company to best position their content, and used as an example how they managed the “Star Trek” franchise, which now has three television series out, including an animated one developed between CBS Studios and Nickelodeon. Moreover, another two “Star Trek” titles are set to premiere next year.

Regarding series, both new and returning, ViacomCBS presented previews of shows such as “Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol,” “Ghosts,” “Good Sam,” “Smallwood,” “Yellowjackets,” “Tom Swift,” “4400,” “American Rust,” “Bestseller Boy,” “CSI: Vegas,” “Dexter,” “FBI: International,” “Joe Pickett,” “Long Slow Exhale,” “NCIS: Hawai'I,” “The Offer,” “The Republic of Sarah,” “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds,” “Station Eleven,” “Tom Swift,” “Women of the Movement,” and a Ray Donovan full-length TV movie, among others.

On the film side, the company highlighted titles such as “Clifford The Big Red Dog,” “Snake Eyes,” “The In Between,” “Jackass 4,” “Mission Impossible 7,” “Paranormal Activity,” “Paw Patrol The Movie,” a “Pet Sematary” prequel; “A Quiet Place Part II,” “Rumble,” “Scream,” “Sonic the Hedgehog 2,” “The Lost City of D,” “Top Gun Maverick,” “Transformers 7,” and “Under the Boardwalk”.
