While some of the offerings have already joined the free streaming service's catalog of over 35,000 titles, others are scheduled to debut later this month, as well as in October, including long-running BBC series.
Tubi will feature ten live streaming channels for different sports, including professional football, baseball, soccer, collegiate sports from the ACC and Pac-12 Conferences, as well as nearly 700 hours of VOD content.
The partnership is intended to add on to the streamer's catalog of over 30,000 titles. The additions will include “I Feel Pretty," "The Edge of Seventeen," and "Into the Lost Desert,” among others.
The service reported $440 million in March of last year and 33 million monthly active users, drawing in $150 million in advertising alone. That rate of advertising revenue growth puts it about a year behind Pluto TV.
Fox Corporation’s free streaming service Tubi, which has attracted millions of users with a mix of old movies and reruns, plans to start funding original programs — a sign of its mounting ambitions after a year of record growth.
