The 7th edition of MIP Cancun, the leading international television market and conference for the Latin American and US Hispanic markets, will take place exclusively online from November 17- 20, 2020.
This year's edition has attracted 1,400 participants from 41 countries: among them 600 international players, out of which 300 are on the evet's digital platform. At least 80% of the registered Italian players will attend the event in person.
Current trends, global upfronts, a Korean content landscape, and Ted Sarandos' keynote were some of the attractive proposals of the international market in its first day.
In the first stage, the event managed to gather 400 online participants of which half are Spanish and the participation was very similar between Europeans (47%) and professionals from America (53%).
