Norway’s NRK, Singapore’s Mediacorp and Quebec’s Radio Canada are the latest broadcasters to commission local versions of the show. The show is about to broadcast in Sweden on SVT1 (produced by Fremantle’s Baluba),  Ireland on Virgin Media Television (produced by Kite Entertainment).

It is created by multi-award-winning writer/director Thomas Seeberg Torjussen. Beta will first present A Better Man at MIPCOM this fall. 

It follows a specific formula, with each season focusing on a different main character, while the series runs daily online and weekly as a webcast.The series is set in the capital of Croatia, Zagreb, and will be broadcast on HRT1 starting in the fall of 2024.
