One Take Media Co acquired the international distribution rights of the famous kids series for the entire world, except SAARC región that include Afghanistan; Bangladesh; Bhutan; India; Maldives; Nepal; Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
The company is launching an Indian streaming service next year, building on its success with DailyHunt, a local news aggregation giant. Apparently, the platform will be called D Plus and will be backed by telco Verse Innovation.
After three year break, Endemol Shine India is set to produce the show for Star Plus, India’s number one GEC channel, as well as 12 master class episodes which will go into production later this year.
There are 28 nominees in 7 categories from 15 countries and for the first time, kids programs from India and Nigeria were nominated. Winners will receive their award in Cannes, France on Tuesday March 31, 2020.
The indian distributor picked up the action russian series “Paper Pusher” and “The Policeman’s Wife”. This deal will allow to NTV Broadcasting expand its presence in the rapidly developing South Asia territorie.
