According to Mediavision, 25% of all 15-74-year-olds in the Nordics downloaded or illegally streamed films, series or live sports in the last month, 400,000 more than the previous month.

Subscribers in Iberia, Nordics, and Central and Eastern Europe are the first in Europe to access WBD’s extensive and expanded streaming content offering. The company is now streaming on leading devices and platforms including Amazon Fire TV in European launch markets.

According to Mediavision, more than 3 million SVOD subscriptions are shared in the region, with a small decrease in the last year.

The deal is through a partnership with Spacemob, a global media company specializing in content distribution and FAST channel development. The Monster Jam channel is now live on Pluto TV in the US, Canada, the UK, France, Spain, Italy, and the Nordics with planned launches in Latin America and Brazil later this year.

Ampere Analysis’ Senior Analysts Peter Ingram and Maria Dunleavy described the company’s findings about one of Europe’s most mature TV and VOD markets.
