"Cacao" will become the first Portuguese soap opera to air on Spanish national television.

The Spanish production company developed them for Prime Video Spain, focusing on the elite of football and Moto GP.

It's a miniseries distributed by Onza Distribution, released as part of the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the coup d'état in Chile. The award ceremony will be held in Mexico on April 20th.

It is a production of the Czech company Dramedy Productions for the Czech TV channel Nova. The series achieved successful audience results in its first season, with a 29% share and a total of over 1 million viewers in its most-watched episode.

The series comes to OCS after premiering in Chile (TVN & Riivi) and Argentina (TV Pública) during 2023. It will also have a double-episode marathon on 21st February on Spain’s TVE.
