The hugely-popular adventure franchise "Gormiti" has been turned into a high-octane, live-action series with exhilarating CGI effects, a super-talented cast and thrilling storylines.

Hosted by one of Australia’s beloved stand-up comedians, Claire Hooper, the show will feature four celebrity players competing each week in a series of entertaining trivia-based puzzles, riddles, and brain teasers, allowing viewers to play along at home.

The Italian public broadcaster has secured the seven seasons of the acclaimed series as well as the brand-new season along with four feature length episodes that will be air on Rai 4.

The acclaim doc "Birdsong" has been acquired by Arte in France and Germany and by BBC4 , while "The Cable that Changed the World" has been sold to RAI in Italy and YLE in Finland. The comedy "Hardy Bucks" has been acquired by BBC NI and BBC iPlayer.

The deal includes the French mystery thriller "Homejacking", Spain’s"Rapa", as well as the German crime movie cycles "Murder in the Valley" and "Crimes of Crete", among others.
