The combined content library would boast a platform with 4,300 unique titles (movies and TV seasons) from Discovery+ and 3,500 from HBO Max in the United States, according to Ampere Analysis.

The network plans to produce original content for its new streaming platform, CNN+, a separate app offering fresh titles that differ from content offered on HBO Max and other outlets.

The combined establishment will go by the name of Warner Bros. Discovery. The conglomerates’ decision to join forces will allow them to increase investment and capabilities in original programming, create more opportunity for under-represented creatives and independent creators and serve innovative content.

The deal follows a successful launch on Discovery+, and previous exposure in 13 countries, including the US, India, the Netherlands and Norway.

Struum, the new streaming service from former Disney and Discovery executives, is officially launching to the public. This platform lets viewers access more than 1000 shows and movies from over 50 content providers with one monthly subscription.
