The beverage line will roll out across North and South America, the European Union, and the United Kingdom, while the Pollo Campero promotion will debut in Central American markets including Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, and Ecuador.
According to the European Audiovisual Observatory, for the 2010 – 2020 period (when the European Union sill included the UK), the paid VOD markets saw SVOD and TVOD revenues increasing from €388.8 million in 2010 to €11.6 billion in 2020.
The operation is the result of a criminal complaint from Canal + and Nagra to the Vaud Police (Lake Geneva region, Switzerland), which led the effort with the support of Europol, the European Union police agency, and Eurojust, the European Union Agency for Cooperation in Criminal Justice.
The decision ensures that the company's services will remain available to customers after UK was declared separate from the European Union and the offerings will now be regulated.
Following a European Union’s petition, Netflix, Amazon, Apple, Disney and YouTube have all provisionally agreed to reduce the quality of their video streams in Europe, to ensure the availability of online services.
