BBC Two has acquired “Enslaved: The Lost History of the Transatlantic Slave Trade” and created a new four-part docuseries featuring Hollywood icon Samuel L. Jackson, following a deal with global producer and distributor Fremantle.

CBC’s fall TV schedule offers 22 series and 1300 hours of new programming across all genres Including documentary “Enslaved”; basketball series “Orangeville Prep”; the thriller “The Sounds” and the international series “War Of The Worlds”.

The global distributor will offer a wide line up of romantic dramas as “The Luminaries”, revealing documentaries as “Secrets of the Solar System” and flagship entertainment to the international buyers.
