Fremantle presents an ambitious slate of exceptional new programming for Mipcom 2019, packed full of captivating dramas, celebrity-fronted lifestyle shows, mind-blowing documentaries and flagship entertainment, from some of the leading creative talent in the industry.

EXCITING SCRIPTED AND UNSCRIPTED SERIES

This market, Fremantle’s growing catalogue features a range of leading global dramas as “The Luminaries” (6x60’) an epic story of love, murder and revenge starring by Eva Green and Eve Hewson, written by Man-Booker prize winning novelist Eleanor Catton. The series is a Working Title Films and Southern Light Films production for BBC Two (UK) and TVNZ1 (New Zealand).

Other scripted offer is the adaptation of Tana French’s acclaimed novels “Dublin Murders” (8x60’) from Fremantle’s Euston Films alongside Veritas Entertainment Group and Element Pictures production. Besides Miso Film’s thriller “Face to Face” (8x30’) directed by Christoffer Boe and “La Jauria”, the powerful Spanish-language series from Chile, co-produced by Oscar-winning Fabula in collaboration with Fremantle.

Fremantle’s non-scripted slate continues to flourish with “Enslaved” (6 x60’), the docuseries from Associated Producers and Cornelia Street production that traces the history of slavery across international waters with Samuel L. Jackson, “Secrets of the Solar System” (8x60’), a geographical travelogue which covers the greatest set of journeys ever taken and “Chasing Life with Sanjay Gupta”(6x60’) a CNN original production which follows the award-winning neuroscientist as he travels around the world to where people live longer and happier lives than anywhere else on the planet.

POWEFUL FORMATS

In the line-up of formats  Fremantle will bring new reality-dating format, "Five Guys a Week", produced by Label1 for Channel 4 in the UK; also the "Epic Gameshow", a huge weekly event-viewing format from Talkback in the UK. The show is made up of iconic gameshows from Fremantle catalogue.

Continuing with gameshows, "Rolling In It" is the brand-new format from Over The Top Productions and commissioned by ITV in the UK, where contestants hope to go home literally rolling in it.  Furthermore, Fremantel will present a quiz show which sets out to find the nation’s smartest family, "The Family Brain Games" and the revamped classic "Supermarket Sweep". The much-loved Thames gameshow was rebooted for ITV2 in the UK and became the channel’s biggest launch for four years.
