ITV Studios America, the US scripted arm of ITV Studios, has optioned the adaptation rights to three romantic-comedy novels from Canadian author Roselle Lim.

The company has also appointed former Showtime Networks executive, Dave Macesich as senior VP of finance.

The U.S. scripted division of the British broadcaster has promoted Joey Kern to VP of Production, while Kimberly Rosenblum has been upped to VP of Business Affairs.
