Following the recent announcement that Netflix has signed up to BARB, the Broadcasters' Audience Research Board has made its reporting of Netflix viewing widely available.
BARB has commissioned an industry consultation on extending its reporting to include all television and television-like content on video-sharing platforms.
In the second quarter of 2022, 19.19 million UK homes (67% of households) had access to a SVOD service, a decrease of 382.000 (or almost 2%) from 19.57 million in the first quarter of the year, according to data from BARB.
