"Ellis" series two is set to begin filming this month and will air on 5 and Acorn TV in 2026.

The series will feature an extended format: three episodes of 120 minutes each. It is a production by Company Pictures in association with All3Media International, which will also handle the show's representation outside the UK and Northern Ireland Screen.

Independent distributor is working toge with partners ARD Degeto (Germany), Masterpiece (USA), ITV (UK), and NPO (Holland). Michele Buck is Executive Producer and Chris Murray returns as lead writer and showrunner.
