They join previously announced studios Sony Pictures Television and ZDF Studios, which will also showcase their latest programming with screenings during the week.

It´s a co-production between CBS Studios and Icelandic production company Truenorth for Icelandic broadcaster Síminn, with Stampede Ventures also serving as executive producers. Paramount Global Content Distribution oversees the series' distribution outside of Iceland.

This expansion builds on the success of the Paramount+ branded destination on beIN’s leading OTT player in the MENA region, ‘TOD’, announced in 2024. Deals for the branded destinations include: Greece, Belgium, Africa, India, Philippines, Thailand, Middle East and North Africa, and Korea.

The new offering will be available on Coupang Play early next year.

Through a licensing deal with Paramount Global Content Distribution, Freediver will be available on December 7, 2024 on Prime Video in the U.S.  The film has also been licensed to Paramount+ in Canada and will be available on the same date.
