The studio co-founded by British artist Akala and Chanelle Newman is looking to grow its scripted and non-scripted content portfolio.

Hannah Griffiths has joined Banijay in the newly created role of Head of Adaptations. She will be responsible for supporting scripted labels across the group in sourcing IP.

Under his new role, Wilson will be responsible for the management of Shine, developing and broadening the range of its original IP, and overseeing its established slate.

This acquisition will bolster Banijay UK’s scripted output and bring the number of scripted labels under the Banijay UK umbrella to eleven, including wholly-owned labels Kudos, Tiger Aspect, and Wild Mercury.
