The company will invest $10.7 million in 20 projects led by minority producers and allocate more than $3.9 million to 25 additional projects through two of its interactive digital media partnerships.

The incentive supports the co-development of fiction and animation television projects, animated feature films, and digital media projects, as well as the co-production of digital media projects.

The three projects selected for funding by the Canada-Germany digital media incentive are "An Empty Seat," "Wildermage: The Magic of Here," and "dA.I.ting: Internet of Flings."

The organization also committed to reopen POV program for French language projects.

The program budget, supported by cable, satellite and IPTV distributors and revenue estimates for the coming year based on ongoing funding contributions from the Government of Canada, will make way for a more diverse team of contributors, among other modifications.
