GMA Network unveils its 2024 roster of television shows and films showcasing world-class Filipino entertainment and bannered by the country’s biggest and brightest stars. Kapuso star Marian Rivera makes her comeback in a series with actor Gabby Concepcion. Together, they headline “My Guardian Alien,” a story of an alien who lands on Earth and becomes part of a loving family. Jennylyn Mercado also returns to primetime with in-demand leading man Xian Lim in “Love. Die. Repeat.” Actress Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Kapuso Total Heartthrob Rayver Cruz team up for the first time in “Asawa Ng Asawa Ko.”

Four of the biggest Kapuso stars come together in “Pulang Araw.” Starring by Alden Richards, Sanya Lopez, Pambansang Ginoo David Licauco, and Barbie Forteza, the series is set in World War II and revolves around the intertwining story of four individuals who must choose among country, family, friends, and love. On the other hand, Bea Alonzo, Gabbi Garcia, and Carla Abellana star in their first project together, “Widows’ War.” This show is about the struggles of a widow who mourns for her husband while facing allegations of murder. Completing the exciting lineup is “A Lifetime With You,” which centers on love found in a penal farm.

AFTERNOON SLOT
GMA Afternoon Prime will premiere the first-ever adaptation of a KDrama “Shining Inheritance.” Leading the powerhouse cast are Kate Valdez, Kyline Alcantara, Michael Sager, and Coney Reyes. Kapuso Little Princess Jo Berry is “Lilet Matias: Attorney-at-Law.” She may be small, but she is a feisty rookie lawyer whose dreams are so high they can touch the sky. Highlighting family values and the unconditional love of a mother is “Mommy Dearest.” All set to touch the hearts of many is “A Mother’s Tale,” which focuses on an exemplary mother forced to work as a full-time nanny to provide for the needs of her family. The programming also includes “A Family Like Us,” “For the Love of Kobe” and “Forever Young.”

Meanwhile, GMA Integrated News guarantees to deliver more special reporting that provides in-depth analyses of the issues of the day. Expect timely news documentaries that go behind the headlines and features that shine a light on thought-provoking topics to educate, inspire, and empower Filipino audiences across the Philippines and overseas.

WEEKEND PROGRAMMING
Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera spread love and happiness, once again, in “Jose and Maria’s Bonggang Villa 2.0.” Bong Revilla and Beauty Gonzalez continue their thrilling adventures in the second season of the action-comedy series “Walang Matigas Na Pulis Sa Matinik Na Misis.” The reality game show “Running Man Philippines” returns for season 2, meanwhile, GMA’s original singing competition, “The Clash,” once again searches for the best voices in the country. Moreover, after the success of The Voice Generations on GMA, a new series from "The Voice" franchise will launch in 2024.

GMA Public Affairs ups the ante in delivering world-class programs with enhanced storytelling techniques and intriguing plotlines. Sci-fi fans who enjoy a dash of romance and drama should check out "Version Two." Another film coming in the new year is "Penthouse 77," directed by award-winning master of horror Derick Cabrido. New stories from across Asia are also coming this 2024, like “Curtain Call,” “Royal Doctor,” “Agency,” “Beauty Newbie,” “Doctor Detective,” “The Long Ballad,” “The Heavenly Idol,” “Stealer: The Treasure Keeper,” “Hidden Love,” and “Love at First Night.”
