ITV'S “BEAT THE CHASERS” HAD A SUCCESSFUL SECOND SEASON IN THE UK

The latest member of the well-known The Chase Family averaged 4.1 million viewers and a 21% market share on ITV, winning a top broadcasting time slot six out of seven nights.

ITV Studios announced that “Beat the Chasers,” the latest member of the well-known The Chase family, has seen another successful season in the UK on ITV. Across its 7 episodes, the show averaged 4.1 million viewers and a 21% market share, a 30% increase on the slot audience (3.1m/17.2%) and 3.8 points up on the slot share, for its second season.

The series won its broadcast time slot six out of the seven nights. The series proved its ability to attract a young audience, watched by an average 16-34 audience of 495k viewers and a 23.5% market share, which is 7.5 points up on the slot share at 15.6%. The run won the time slot every night across this key demographic.

The hit format is also a big success across the globe. In Australia, it rounded up a very strong first season and the show is currently on air in the Netherlands, outperforming RTL4’s time slot week on week. Beat The Chasers is created by Potato, part of ITV Studios, and distributed internationally by ITV Studios.

Five chasers famous for their appearance appear in the quiz show "The Chase join forces!" Contestants are selected from an eager audience, then go head-to-head against The Chasers and tries to win a big cash prize.
