The new Public service was presented in the frame of MIPTV where its General manager, Salim Zeghdar, brought more details about the new TV launch. "The channel will broadcast live news and sports and will complete the schedule with recorded shows for the rest of the time" he commented. The original shows will initially be all unscripted, but they plan to add scripted shows in about 12-18 months’ time.

"We will have some acquisitions and productions in French and English but we want to respect the Monégasque", commented Nathalie Biancolli, Deputy General Manager. "The shows will go out on both a linear service and a digital platform. Shows will also be shown on the French public television network TV5Monde, which has global distribution.". Are part of the channel also Virginie Lavagna, General Secretary and Marie-Pierre Gramaglia, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

As a general television channel financed by the Monegasque State and shareholder of TV5MONDE, TVMONACO will stand out with a new television model that will target all generations.
