UNIMAS REPORTS PRIMETIME AUDIENCE GROWTH FOR 32ND STRAIGHT WEEK

The network saw a week-over-week audience growth by 4% to 79,000, outperforming CBS by more than a 3% advantage on Saturday night and Fox, The CW throughout the week.

On last Saturday night, UniMás outperformed CBS by more than a 3% advantage. FOX has a 168% advantage and Telemundo had a 10% advantage among adults ages 18-34 with a movie line-up that included “Cineplex: 300: Rise of an Empire” and CineNight: Run All Night. The network also out-delivered FOX and Telemundo by double to triple-digit margins among viewers over 2 years old and adults 18-49 throughout the entire night, which marked the ninth and third consecutive Saturday that UniMás has out-delivered FOX among adults ages 18-34 and 18-49.  The line-up delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. period year-over-year among viewers ages 2 and older, and a 39% to 445,000, adults ages 18-49 by 47% to 209,000 and adults 18-34 by 22% to 72,000.

On Sunday evening, UniMás out-delivered FOX and The CW for the whole night among adults ages 18-49 and 18-34 with a movie line-up that included “Cineplex: Ip Man 3” and “CineMás: Red Dawn.” It also outperformed The CW, which has a 64% advantage, by double-digits among viewers for the entire night. This marked the 25th consecutive Sunday that UniMás has out-delivered The CW among adults 18-49 and 18-34. The movie line-up increased the network’s 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. period week-over-week among viewers over the age of 2, by 2% to 660,000 and adults 18-34 by 18% to 136,000. The line-up also delivered year-over-year audience growth to the time slot among viewers by 5% to 660,000. Adults ages 18-49 increased by 6% to 320,000 and adults 18-34 by 11% to 136,000.

The network saw a week-over-week audience growth by 4% to 79,000, marking its 32nd consecutive week of audience growth. Its weeknight 8 p.m. novela series, “Qué Culpa Tiene Fatmagül” delivered a 9% growth week-over-week audience growth to 489,000, 15% to 229,000 for adults 18-49, and 21% to 85,000 for adults 18-34. UniMás also increased the network’s Monday to Friday 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. period by double-digit margins year-over-year by 66% for people over the age of 2, adults 18-49 by 82% and adults 18-34 by 44%. “Qué Culpa Tiene Fatmagül” also placed UniMás ahead of The CW for the entire week among the age groups 18-49 by 12% and 18-34 by 23% in the 8 pm hour.

UniMás’ weeknight 9 p.m. adventure reality competition series, “Reto 4 Elementos: Naturaleza Extrema” increased the network’s Monday to Friday from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. time slot week-over-week among viewers by 5% to 321,000. The reality series also delivered double-digit audience growth year-over-year for the third consecutive week among the age group, 18-34 by 25% to 60,000.

UniMás’ weeknight 10:30 p.m. newscast, “Noticiero Univision” grew the network’s Monday to Friday 10:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. period by double-digit margins year-over-year for the third consecutive week by 51% to 231,000, 45% to 112,000 for adults 18-49, and 20% to 36,000 for adults 18-34. The network also out-delivered the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime by double-to-triple digit margins among viewers by a 99% advantage, adults 18-49 by a 188% advantage, and adults 18-34 by 163% advantage.
