The television group A+E Networks Italia and Sky Italia renew their twenty-year agreement. The group's channels, History, Crime + Investigation and Blaze, will continue to be visible on the entertainment & media company and Sky Media will always manage the advertising sales of the group.

“The renewal of the distribution and commercial partnership confirms the consolidated bond that exists between us and Sky, strengthening a twenty-year relationship, since History landed in Italy in 2003”, underlines Patricio Teubal, General Manager of A + E Networks Italia. “From one part of Sky recognizes A+ E's undisputed ability to enrich its offer with quality content that includes both the rich A+E catalog but also large local productions; on the other, A+ E finds in Sky an important partner that has allowed the growth of the group and the enhancement of its business in the Italian television market.”

The Italian partnership is also one of the cornerstones of a very strong relationship at European level: "in Germany, the two groups have been collaborating for several years, while the United Kingdom sees them as partners in a joint venture that covers more than sixty countries in the EMEA region" according to PrimaOnline.

"Thanks to this agreement - concludes Teubal - we will continue to guarantee Sky subscribers the best of factual production, be it historical, true crime or entertainment: foreign products, coming from our catalogs and those of the most prestigious international brands, but also a lot of content a venue centered on an unpublished tale of Italy and with many exclusive accesses that has contributed to giving our channels a strong recognition among the public and investors".

There are much news that Sky spectators will be able to follow in the coming months. On History, in addition to the new episodes of established products such as "Oak Island e il tesoro maledetto" and "Il Fuoco di Spade", also the series "I grandi misteri della storia"; the enslaved docu-series, "Enslaved" narrated by another black actor, Samuel L. Jackson, to underline the growing commitment of Sky channel 407 against all forms of racial discrimination.

Crime + Investigation will propose the new seasons of Italian productions such as "Delitti: Famiglie Criminali e Mostri senza Nome", and series such as "Intervention – Vite drogate", the arrival of true Scandinavian crime with the mini-series "Il polizotto cattivo" and the story of the serial killer Sam Little with "Confessioni a mano libera".

Finally, Blaze will host the new seasons of flagship factual entertainment programs such as "Affari di Famiglia", "Extreme Unboxing", "Titan Games con The Rock" as well as the LEGO® Masters competition show in its various international versions.
