Deep Fusion Films, the recently launched full-scale production company and AI specialist, has appointed ex Red Arrow International and Spark Media executive Niki Page as its international partnerships agent. Page’s remit is to build Deep Fusion’s international profile by forging alliances with platforms, broadcasters, brands and co-production partners, and exploring new production-finance models. She will report to Jamie Anderson and Benjamin Field, who launched Deep Fusion in October 2023 as a factual and scripted production company operating at the interface of technology, creativity and human stories.

Deep Fusion’s co-founder Benjamin Field said: “Deep Fusion has innovation at its heart and a desire to change work culture for the better in its soul. We’re building a team that enjoys its work and is a joy to work with, whether creating ‘the next big thing’ in mainstream formats or harnessing the power of AI to reimagine entertainment. To take our ambitious launch slate to market, we need not only a person with experience, talent and connections, but also a person with the energy and vision to explore all possibilities. Niki is very definitely that person.”

Niki Page added: “Deep Fusion is pioneering the ethical use of AI to push back the frontiers of creativity, which represents a massive opportunity for any future-focused broadcaster, platform, brand or producer. My long experience in acquisitions and development means that working in a culture of collaborative relationships is second nature to me. In today’s uniquely challenging market, it’s never been more important to work with people you like, trust and respect — people with whom you can share a laugh as well as values. Providing that to our new international partners is our number priority.”

Anderson and Field’s first collaborative production was a feature-length biographical documentary about Anderson’s father — legendary "Thunderbirds" creator Gerry Anderson, who was responsible for some of the UK’s most popular children’s TV shows of the 1960s. "In Gerry Anderson: A Life Uncharted" (Britbox UK/Abacus Media Rights), deepfake technology was used to ‘ethically’ repurpose intimate audio archive footage and bring Anderson back to the screen to discuss his life and career. This technique is believed to be a global first in unscripted production.

Deep Fusion has a slate of soon-to-be-announced projects in the pipeline, including feature length documentaries, scripted series and sports content.
