Leading independent distributor All3Media International has strengthened its international portfolio with two major acquisitions and commissions.

First, the distributor has signed multiple deals for Lion Television’s one-hour feature documentary “Diddy: In Plain Sight”, which debuted on Channel 4 in the UK in May 2025 to coincide with the start of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ trial. The film, which has already found a home in the US on Little Dot Studios’ Real Stories Channel, has now been acquired across Europe, Asia, Australia, and Canada.

The documentary, directed by Gussy Sakula-Barry and produced in association with All3Media International, examines how Combs was able to act with impunity for decades, exploring the complicity of those around him. Executive produced by Daniel Pearl, the film investigates the broader societal impact of fame, wealth, and power, providing insight into the elites who enabled Combs’ behavior.

Broadcast partners for the documentary include Corus Entertainment’s StackTV in Canada, ABC in Australia, TVNZ in New Zealand, and Now TV in Hong Kong and Macau. In Europe, multi-territory deals have been signed with Canal+ Luxembourg, OneGate Media, Antena TV, HRT, MTV Oy, Pop TV, RTBF, TV2, TV4, VPRO, and VRT. Rachel Job, SVP of Unscripted Content at All3Media International, described the film as offering “must-see viewing no matter where you are in the world.”

In parallel, All3Media International has announced a new version of Animo TV’s social experiment format “Dinner with the Enemy” for the Basque Country’s public service broadcaster EITB. The series, titled “El otro lado de la mesa” (‘The Other Side of the Table’), brings together individuals with opposing views to engage in unfiltered conversations on divisive topics such as marriage rights, gender pay gaps, climate change, and religion.

The eight-episode Basque edition will be hosted by journalist Xabier García Ramsden and produced by Baleuko S.L. ETB2 described the program as an “innovative” social experiment designed to encourage debate and understanding in a polarized society. The format has previously been adapted internationally, including a third season of the Irish version on Virgin Media with new dynamics like dinner party settings, surprise vote-offs, and real-time psychological interventions. Lithuania also aired a 16-episode season via Paprika Studios for LRT Television.

Nick Smith, EVP Formats at All3Media International, on the title: Dinner with the Enemy” delivers compelling viewing that sparks conversation and connection. In today’s polarised world, Animo TV’s format not only encourages debate but also inspires respect for differences. With EITB launching a local version this month and Virgin Media recently airing a third season filled with dynamic new format points, “Dinner with the Enemy” has proven its international appeal and adaptability. It delivers raw, honest exchanges that captivate viewers and challenge perspectives — making it a bold, timely choice for broadcasters looking to engage and grow their audiences," noted.
