Dan Grabiner
Dan Grabiner, the former Head of Unscripted for Amazon Studios UK, has been promoted to Head of UK Originals, trade publication Broadcast first reported. The executive will report to Georgia Brown, Head of Amazon Originals for Europe, and his remit is to oversee the team responsible for developing and producing scripted and unscripted Amazon original series and programming for Prime Video in the UK.
Grabiner and his team will oversee a slate that includes titles such as “The Grand Tour,” “Clarkson’s Farm,” and upcoming drama series “The Rig” and “The Devil’s Hour”. His team includes former Channel 4 commissioner Fozia Khan, who leads on unscripted programming, and Jonathan Lewsley and Daisy Mount, who are responsible for scripted content.
Grabiner joined the company in 2019. Previously, he was Head of Development at ITN, where he oversaw a slate of factual series and films including “Michael Palin in North Korea,” “Interview with a Murderer,” “The Queen’s Green Planet” and “Inside the Cockpit”.
