Aniplex Inc. and Crunchyroll today announced the creation of Hayate Inc., an anime production company focused on planning, development and production of anime content for the Crunchyrolloll streaming service worldwide.
The team of the joint company, which will include employees of Aniplex and Crunchyroll, is led by Masanori Miyaki, president and executive director, and Leo Watanabe, president and director of operations, both belonging to the Aniplex team.
The creation of Hayate, based in Tokyo, Japan, promises premium content for the fans of the world's anime, using the Aniplex production experience, cultivated over the years through their collaborations with a wide range of creators and studies, and the capabilities of development, marketing and distribution of Crunchyroll, based on their solid links with the community of the anime and passionate Fandom.
The announcement marks the continuous investment of Aniplex and Crunchyroll to offer new anime content to fans around the world.
