ARTE Distribution has signed a co-production agreement with Japan’s public broadcaster NHK for its upcoming documentary "Polychromia, Archeology of Colors – Ancient Greece" (52’&90’). Additionally, the international program sales unit has also secured a presale deal with long-time Greek partner Cosmote TV – Cosmote Telekom for the same title.

The visually stunning and historically rich documentary takes viewers on a journey through time to uncover the forgotten colors of ancient Greece. Using cutting-edge technologies such as 3D animations and advanced scientific methods, "Polychromia" reveals the vibrant polychromy that once adorned temples, sculptures, and everyday objects in classical antiquity.

Joséphine Létang, Head of Sales at ARTE Distribution, said: “We are thrilled to be offering our partners such a unique, spectacular, and insightful title! We appreciate the trust that NHK and Cosmote TV – COSMOTE Telekom have placed in this remarkable documentary.”
