Content powerhouse, Banijay Entertainment, announced "SAS: Who Dares Wins", originally created by Minnow Films for Channel 4, has been commissioned for a first season in Poland. Known locally as Siły Specjalne Polska, this version for Polsat, produced by Endemol Shine Poland, marks the tenth version of the format.
Banijay Entertainment holds the global distribution rights. The format has been produced in nine other markets, including the UK, US, Australia, and most recently Belgium, where it was the #1 show in its slot on the commercial demo.
The title sees participants undertake a unique version of the special forces selection process to discover if they have what is required. The Polish version will follow the journey of 18 recruits, under the leadership of four former members of elite units, Wojciech “Zachar” Zacharków (former officer, AGAT Military Unit), Marek “Włóczykij” Stan (former operator, GROM Military Unit), Piotr “Gniady” Hajkowski (former operator, Formoza Military Unit) and Piotr “Soyers” Soyka (former operator, Commandos Military Unit). The recruits face tasks based on real special forces training and will confront their deepest fears, demonstrate extraordinary physical fitness, reach the limits of the human psyche, and surpass their endurance threshold.
