Bavaria Fiction will soon welcome Maximiliane Prokop as Executive Producer. Based in Berlin, she will report to Marcus Ammon, Managing Director Content upon assuming her new role on 1 April.

Before accepting the new opportunity, Prokop worked as a producer at X Filme Creative Pool on the ZDF series "Doktor Ballouz," the RTL event series "Das Haus der Träume", the ZDF political thriller series "Furia" and the Grimme Award-winning series "Tina Mobil," among others. Before that, she worked as a junior producer at Constantin Film and additionally as Bora Dagtekin's personal assistant during the filming of "The Perfect Secret" and "Suck Me Shakespeer 3". She acted as executive producer for the coming-of-age short film "Jenny", which was awarded the FFF Bayern's promotional prize and was nominated for the German Short Film Award.
The Ludwig-Maximilians-University graduate studied communication science and psychology, and then went on to study production and media business at the University of Television and Film in Munich. Her path crossed with Bavaria Fiction for the first time during her studies when she supported several executive producers in content and logistics and also worked on various film sets. "I am very much looking forward to contributing to the Bavaria Fiction team as the company continues to grow," Prokop said. "My goal is to produce bold, authentic entertainment that sensitively reflects our current times. I am particularly interested in developing and executing projects with a cross-media approach."
