Bavaria Fiction teams up with Gerda Film

Bavaria Fiction and Gerda Film, managed by Chris Geletneky and Benjamin Seikel, recently launched a new collaboration. "We see the great demand from broadcasters and streamers for comedy formats in all shapes and forms. Consequently, we are further expanding our field of comedy together with Peter," Marcus Ammon, Managing Director Content, Bavaria Fiction, said. "The cooperation with Gerda Film is a big step on our content roadmap. Chris and I have known each other for a long time; I have high personal regard for Chris and love his sense of comedy. Furthermore, I am looking forward to the first joint projects of our new comedy power duo Peter and Chris." 

Chris Geletneky, head writer and creative producer of comedy formats such as "Ladykracher," "Pastewka," and "ZDF Sketch History," and Peter Güde, author of "Vorsicht vor Leuten," "Falk" and "Deutsch-Les-Landes", as well as executive producer of the series "Mord mit Aussicht" and "Grumpy Old Cops", will jointly develop comedy material for films and series. "GERDA FILM is a small creative unit that depends on large creative partners for the realization of its materials," Chris Geletneky, Head Writer and Creative Producer, GERDA FILM, said. "With Bavaria Fiction, we have now found the perfect complement to our company concept. I am very much looking forward to working closely with Peter and Marcus in the future to produce unusual, exciting, and funny material for a broad audience!"
