BBC Studios signed an agreement with All Media Baltics that will see the popular series “Dancing With the Stars” make its debut in Latvia and return to screens in Estonia, as 13 and 8-episode seasons airing in Autumn 2022 on TV3. The launch into Latvia marks the 61st territory to license the global TV phenomenon. “With more than 400 seasons, over 4.000 episodes and almost 5.000 couples taking part in productions around the world since the format launched in the UK in 2004, ‘Dancing With The Stars’ brings joy to audiences wherever it travels to. It is testament to the quality of the format that it continues to launch into new markets and will return to screens for fans in Estonia,”  said André Renaud, SVP Global Format Sales at BBC Studios.

Elīna Jēkabsone, Program Director of TV3 Group in Latvia, added: “‘Dancing with the Stars’ is a legendary show, one of the most watched and beloved shows in the world and, of course, in Latvia as well. Every year we please our viewers with great, high-quality shows, and ‘Dancing with the Stars’ is definitely one of the top shiny-floor shows in the world. We are really happy that on the eve of the anniversary of our channel TV3, ‘Dancing with the Stars’ will be on TV3 and in our viewers homes.”
