One of the Be-Entertainment newly launched entertainment formats last MIPCOM, "Finder$ Keeper$" has premiered last Saturday on VTM in Belgium in its first full series. The first episode attracted a market share of 44.6% in 18-44, which marks an impressive increase of +117% vs the channel average of 20.5%, on the prime time Saturday night slot.

On each episode of the captivating new show, a fortunate family gets the chance to win up to 100,000 euros. The cash is hidden in their own home, where all the money they find within 30 minutes is theirs to keep. A team of ‘hiders’ stash the cash anywhere, from within sealed bags of cereal to the inside of an unopened bottle of wine, in the kids’ game console or behind a newly-built fake wall.

The format, based on an idea from Send in the Clowns, and produced by PIT, is already in production in 3 territories since its first appearance on VTM in Belgium in Fall 2022, with productions also underway in Germany and French Belgium. Several producers are currently pitching the format locally and very recently the rights were picked up by Maverick TV USA, part of All3Media, for the US market.

Says Be-Entertainment MD Gepke Nederlof: “We are proud to share such a fun and light-hearted show with the world and it is great to see how well it’s being picked up internationally.”
