Blink Films started shooting "Terror on The Space Station"

UK factual indie Blink Films (a Tin Roof Media company) is producing a new documentary exposing a series of near-catastrophic incidents aboard the International Space Station (ISS) for theatrical release in the UK, for PBS’s prestigious NOVA strand, France Télévisions, and SBS. It is being launched to the international market by PBS International at MIPCOM.

"Terror on the Space Station" is directed by Oscar Chan, produced by Sophie Burley, and executive produced by Tom Adams and Dan Chambers for Blink Films. Julia Cort and Chris Schmidt are executive producers for NOVA, and PBS International is the worldwide distribution partner. Blink Films is a Tin Roof Media company. NOVA is a production of GBH.

November 2025 marks 25 years since the first crew arrived onboard the International Space Station. In "Terror on the Space Station" (2x60’, 1x90’, titled "Operation Space Station" for NOVA), astronauts and mission control insiders reveal the most terrifying moments they have faced on board since then. From gas leaks, meteor strikes and docking disasters, to colliding satellites, spacewalk horrors, lethal showers of space junk, and the moment the entire ISS backflipped out of control. Delving into the tales of life and death at 1.3 million feet aboard the most expensive object ever built, the documentary tells the stories of the brilliance that each time saved the day.
