Blue Ant Media announces that Love Nature has launched in Australia as a premium, linear subscription channel on the Fetch aggregated platform.

“Australia is a major market that brings Love Nature an engaged fanbase, hungry for wildlife and nature stories they are truly passionate about. Our new partnership with Fetch TV has solidified this opportunity and we can’t wait to show their viewers what Love Nature has to offer,” Carlyn Staudt, General Manager, Love Nature, said.

The deal was brokered by media industry advisor Jon Penn of Sydney-based Future of Media Advisory. The launch signals Love Nature’s debut to audiences on a linear subscription channel across the country. Subscribers to the Fetch Knowledge and Ultimate Channel Packs will be able to tune-in to Love Nature’s week-long Love Earth programming event beginning on April 17, which is stacked with special programming celebrating Earth in honor of Earth Day.

The event will showcase the premiere of "Chasing the Rains," on April 22, Earth Day. The four-part original series, narrated by Adjoa Andoh (Bridgerton, Invictus) is filmed beyond the jagged peaks of Mount Kenya, during one of Africa’s worst droughts in twenty years. The series follows a unique cast of animal characters, including a cheetah, a wild dog pack and a Samburu elephant.

Additional Love Nature programming highlights include "Uptown Otters," "Planet Shark," "New Kids in the Wild," "Osprey: Sea Raptor," and "Becoming Orangutan." “Love Nature will bring the Fetch TV audience closer to the animal kingdom in its natural habitat,"  Sam Hall, Chief Content and Commercial Officer, Fetch TV said.  "We are delighted to partner with Love Nature to bring this high quality, engaging entertainment to Australian homes.”
