Netflix, CBC and APTN announce the start of production for the new comedy series "North of North" (formerly Untitled "Arctic Comedy") in Nunavut, Canada. The series is produced by Red Marrow Media and Northwood Entertainment.
Mary Lynn Rajskub ("It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia"), Maika Harper ("Law and Order: Toronto"), Braeden Clarke ("Little Bird"), Jay Ryan ("It: Chapter Two"), Kelly William ("Portraits from a Fire"), Zorga Qaunaq, Doreen Simmonds ("True Detective: Night Country"), and Tanya Tagaq ("Bootlegger") join already announced cast members Anna Lambe ("True Detective: Night Country") and Keira Cooper.
The series tells the story of a young Inuk mother wants to build a new future for herself, but it won’t be easy in her small Arctic town where everyone knows your business.
