Chiara Sbarigia
Chiara Sbarigia will continue as President of the Associazione Produttori Audiovisivi (APA) for the 2025–2027 term. Among her main goals are the development of a new association structure, the recognition of the independent producer’s creative and entrepreneurial role, the strengthening of institutional and industry relations, and strong efforts to promote the sector.
Key priorities include attention to the Tax Credit scheme, closer ties with both public and private commissioners, and a greater balance among all genres represented by APA: entertainment, documentaries, animation, and scripted content.
The newly confirmed President also reappointed the five Vice Presidents: Paolo Bassetti (Banijay Italia), Gabriella Buontempo (Clemart), Matteo Levi (11 Marzo Film), Giovanni Stabilini (Cattleya), and Iginio Straffi (Rainbow).
“We are facing new and significant challenges in the audiovisual sector and must ensure sufficient resources for an industry that has proven to be healthy and diverse. In a time of major transformation like this, the role of the Association will be crucial. That’s why I’ve chosen to dedicate all my energy to APA. It’s an important challenge that I intend to share with all our members,” said Chiara Sbarigia.
Her objectives also include the development of the new MAXIMO Foundation and the consolidation of the Italian Global Series Festival, the AVPSummit, and MIA.
